You know that moment when you’re scrolling through photos of old friends and realize you haven’t talked to any of them in months.

You’ve seen Ewmsister in your SAP EWM logs. You’ve clicked it. You’ve stared at it. You’ve probably ignored it (until) something broke.

I know what it feels like to show up alone. To sit in a room full of women and still feel invisible. That’s not weakness.

I know what it feels like to stand in your own way. To hesitate before speaking up. To second-guess your decisions.

What does “solid” even mean for a woman? Not the version they sell you in movies. Not the one shouted from podiums.

I’ve watched women carry impossible loads and still ask if anyone needs coffee. You know what I mean.

I know what it feels like to show up fully (and) still feel unseen. Like you’re carrying everything alone. Even when you’re surrounded by people.

I started my first womanhood projects ewmhisto because I was tired of reading history like it was a list of dates and dead people. You probably are too.

You remember that feeling. When your sister shows up with coffee and silence, no questions asked. Or when your best friend texts at 2 a.m.

What does womanhood actually mean? Not the dictionary definition. Not the Instagram version.
